The staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were nicely decorated and equipped with a coffee/tea maker. The location was perfect, close to the city center and the charming town of Cristina. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, such as Mercearia da Vila which was only a 5-minute walk away.

I stayed at Casa Da Travessa for my Camino journey and had a wonderful time. Cristina, the owner, was an amazing host who made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was comfortable, with beautiful views and plenty of natural light. The communal kitchen was a great place to meet fellow travelers, and I loved the convenience of having a washing machine and laundry service. The location was central, making it easy to explore the area. Casa Da Travessa was the perfect place to stay.

Lovely small hotel with a welcoming owner who gave me a TERRIFIC dinner recommendation! Sparkling clean and comfortable room in a great location. Bakery downstairs for breakfast if you're on the Camino. Spacious rooms with a fully equipped community kitchen and a provided clothes washer. Convenient to all stores and sites. One of the very best places we stayed in all of Portugal.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.
